BASKETBALL (BOYS & GIRLS)
The exciting sport of basketball not only enhances one’s overall fitness but it also helps to strengthen discipline, camaraderie and teamwork amongst the student athletes. At our inclusive playing environment, they are given opportunities to excel in various aspects of the sport such as passing, shooting and dribbling under the guidance of dedicated basketball coaches. A team of passionate teachers also provide guidance and knowledge into the other aspects of the game.
Discipline, Focus, Growth Mindset
Through Basketball, student develop discipline in training for a sport, an ability to focus on the drills and games and a growth mindset in improving performance and character. We take pride in ensuring our students perform and behave both on and off the court and to exemplify the GIVERS and Sportsmanship values.
Student athletes also forge strong friendships amongst peers and develop resilience as they pursue sporting excellence through the annual Basketball National School Games for both Junior and Senior teams. These competitive players will learn to develop grit, ruggedness and resilience through the extra trainings and competition. Through these games, teachers guide the students to win and lose graciously while demonstrating sportsmanship.
